We love to show off things we've created! Below, you'll find some of our recent projects and a short description of what we did.
We created a whole new identity for The Building Approval Company (TBAC), including logo, business cards, report covers, letterheads and of course the website. We worked closely with TBAC to design and develop a site which matched their needs and included all the features and functionality required by the business and their clients and nothing more.
As always with websites we create special attention was paid to maximising performance and device compatibility, and indeed this site runs vey well on a wide variety of device types and sizes and loads quickly for all users regardless of the quality of their internet connection.
This site is powered by Perch CMS.
Visit the Peddle Thorp website
Peddle Thorp architectural practice asked Quill Studios to help them develop a fresh approach to their marketing and communications activity. We started within the organisation, working with the team to collect and clarify the ways they currently communicate, what they value and practical resources they needed to improve interactions between colleagues and with external audiences.
We worked with Peddle Thorp to:
The practice’s new website was designed and coded by Vivo Group, with project management and content creation managed by Quill Studios. In writing and structuring content for the new Peddle Thorp website, we focused on conveying key aspects of the brand values, which had been teased out during earlier work. This includes an emphasis on being helpful yet refined: adopting a sophisticated, intelligent tone of voice while still being engaging and providing clear answers for visitors.
Visit the LLW Specialist Centre website
We were engaged by Lives Lived Well to create content, design and develop the new website for their specialist centre on the Gold Coast. We worked closely with the communications team at Lives Lived Well to create content which would engage and educate their diverse client base.
The site is designed to have a modern and professional, yet friendly feel, much like the specialist centre itself. During development we spent considerable effort on ensuring adding and editing content was as flexible and simple as possible. We made heavy use of SVG graphics and CSS3 filters to allow editors to edit the look and feel of sections of the site easily and without any input from a developer.
As this site is for a medical centre, much of the traffic will be from users on mobile devices looking to find information quickly, because of this we spent a lot of time making sure the site looked perfect on a wide range of mobile devices and ran quickly and smoothly on less powerful devices.
Visit Jardini International website
Jardini International sell rare fish, predominantly to collectors in the Asian region. They required a website which would convey the extreme rarity, beauty and value of their fish and allow their brand to stand out in this competitive market.
We worked with Jardini to develop a content strategy, site structure and brand voice which helps Jardini position themselves as one of the world's premier suppliers of rare fish.
To successfully achieve the final look and feel of the website, we had to use some interesting advanced techniques to ensure the site performed well and looked beautiful across a wide range of browsers and devices.
Some of the more interesting technical features include:
We worked extensively with the startup company Verve Ed to help them launch their new online Moodle LMS training platform.
Quill Studios helped Verve Ed develop their brand voice, create content (including promotional videos, image and text content) and design and develop the app landing page.
The site is powered by Perch CMS, which allows Verve Ed to manage their content easily, quickly and independently from us.
